On April 10th 2025 the Dutch Foundation of Innovation Welfare 2 Work hosted the last ELDeM You transnational project meeting in Leiden. The partnership dealt with the last changes of the online tool and the coordination of the multiplier events.

Dutch Multiplier event

The Dutch multiplier event will be given on Thursday May 1st in Rotterdam at Post West.

The “Disfinlit” Multiplier Event took place on November 27th, 2023. The event programme had some excellent speakers and was hosted by Dutch speaker and director Pieter van Schie. 21 participants attended the multiplier event in Leiden at the University Leiden Campus. The Disfinlit project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Disfinlit Partnership

The partnership is composed by seven organizations from the European Union. The coordinator is Fundació privada institut d’ estudis financers (IEF) from Spain and the partners are: Dutch Foundation of Innovation Welfare 2 Work (DFW2W) from the Netherlands, Effebi from Italy, CONACEE from Spain, ACEEU from Germany and Eurodimensions from Malta. The Disfinlit project aim is to respond to the needs of high-quality online tools and platforms by developing a tool that will help disabled youth to develop sustainable financial know-how, make smart and sustainable financial decisions, understand money management, deal with a constantly changing economy, navigate inevitable challenges and take charge of their own financial future.

Outline Disfinlit Programme

The Disfinlit ME Agenda was presented and hosted by director Pieter van Schie. He welcomed all participants and explained the objectives and agenda of the partnership:

• DFW2W presentation and DisFinLit project introduction: Sustainable Financial Literacy for youth disabled
• Disfinlit Consortium presentation: Institution, roles and responsibilities
• Presentation of Adapted curriculum and materials for disabled people from existing financial literacy courses paying special attention of sustainable finances  
• Presentation of Community of good practices to include all the existing training available and new materials
• Presentation of the Disfinlit platform

The content of the modules and the support materials were well appreciated: ,,I was positively surprised by this event and the results presented”. The multiplier event Disfinlit focus groups were also discussed. The aim of the Focus Groups was to:

• Discuss the state of the art of existing educational aims at different academic levels
• Determine which types of skills and competencies should be offered in the educationalmaterial
• Identify Learning Objectives (LOs)

This resulted in an ”Adapted curriculum and materials for disabled people from existing financial literacy courses paying special attention of sustainable finances” and a ”Community of good practices to include all the existing training available and new materials”

On Thursday October 19th the last TPM of the Alliance for Green Entrepreneurship partnership took place in Sofia Bulgaria. Partners from Danmark, Holland, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria evaluated their work so far and evaluated the project as ”very successful”

On April 2oth – 21st 2023 the EMO2C partnership organised their Dutch transnational project meeting in Leiderdorp, Holland. The partnership is formed by partners from different EU-countries. INDEPCIE from Spain (coordinator), AKMI from Greece, Efektas Group from Lithuania, VAEV from Austria, Igor Vitale International from Italy and the Dutch Foundation of Innovation Welfare 2 Work from the Netherlands. The objective of EMO2C is to strengthen the emotional and social competences of the target groups, so that their personal empowerment serves as a basis for the development of technical and professional skills.

The Dutch EDDI multiplier event in Leiderdorp, Holland took place on April 24th 2022 at Area071. The full programme was packed with exciting presentations and a vibrant EDDI market place. Pieter van Schie and Carla de Vreij were the hosts of the day. The multiplier event offcially launched the results and intelectual outputs achieved, showcasing the new EDDI platform, catologue and EDDI App. This was well received by the Dutch audience. Amazing Succesful Multiplier Event

More then 54 people had signed up to attend the Dutch multiplier event on april 24th. Eventually 47 participants showed up and brought a lot of energy and chemistry during the Dutch multiplier event in Leiderdorp. All the participants were all pretty engaged and involved. The Dutch EDDI Conference was a big success. Lots of young people were really happy about the EDDI Platform, android app and catalogue. The modules on the EDDI Platform is a support tool for the teachers.

The purpose of the Dutch multiplier event was:

• To inform the participants about the results and intellectual outputs achieved;
• To promote the EDDI project and prevent early school leaving;
• To present the EDDI platform, EDDI catalogue and EDDI App;
• To identify solutions for early school leaving

From ‘rhetoric to practice’ to make the EDDI project ‘lifelong learning Erasmus+ reality’. That was the aim of the Dutch multiplier event in Holland on april 24th 2023. At the end of the day, after lots of activities, workshops and presentations the feedback was pretty good. A summary about the feedback you find below.

Overall conclusion of the event and the evaluation results: Very successful and well attended Dutch EDDI multiplier event. Lots of inspiration and energy in this vibrant multiplier event. The feedback was overall on average from very good to excellent!

How we talk about mental health mattters! On Friday March 10th 2023, the Dutch Foundation of Innovation Welfare to Work will organize the 2nd Empower.Ment Focus Group day in Leiden. The focus group will among others discuss the content of the Empower.Ment platform.

EfDP Market

The partnership Ecvet for Digital Publishing (EfDP) held their multiplier events through Eurpe. The Dutch one was held in Zuid-Holland (The Netherlands) at Area071 and a lot of vistors and delegates were attending. The event showcased a suite of new credit-based Digital Publishing qualifications within the context of the European Qualification Framework (EQF) and related processes for European Credit Transfer for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET). One of the higlights of the day was the EfDP market, organised in the afternoon.

EfDP pilot course – What is Digital Marketing?

Pieter van Schie showcased the development of the EfDP units. In particular het explained Unit 3, the Dutch unit. On December 7th we started the Dutch pilot Marketing and Distribution. One of the main questions we ask ourselves is: What is digital marketing? Digital Marketing is essential for any business. Its main channels and its advantages will help you design the best strategies or trust an agency to carry out all the actions related to the online media. Digital Marketing (or Online Marketing) is a set of marketing techniques that are carried out in Internet media and channels. It is about using online resources and opportunities to promote a business or brand efficiently. In other words, Digital Marketing is a system for selling products and services to a specific target that uses the Internet through online channels and tools in a strategic and consistent way with the company’s general Marketing strategy.

Digital Marketing in Digital Publishing

It is obvious that Digital Marketing is the main type of Marketing now but even more when it comes to Digital Products. Constantly, digital products such as E-books, online courses, apps, stock photos and much more are so sold, distributed and consumed. This is why market your digital product in a correct way is so important. Digital products are different so physical ones because them are not tangible so it must be taken into account.

The aim of public relations is maintaining relationships with the public, and also managing the contact between different parties. The goal of public relations is shapping how people think about a company, product, service, or person.

What is Distribution?

Book distribution gathers distribution of physical books (in site and online) and e-book distribution.

E-Book distribution is a very complex and evolving process that is always changing an counting with more and more players in the market. The business is growing and it is important to keep to date with new technologies, new options and customers demands. Having a quality e-book is key, of course but you need more. You need very effective e-book distribution services that will enable you to reach your audience and growing your sales getting new customers and resources.

Pieter van Schie and Carla de Vreij will be the hosts of the day. The multiplier event launches the new EfDP course qualifications and outlines curricula and results achieved, showcasing the pilot course.

The Final Sesycare meeting was held in Lanciano, Italy. The meeting was very successful and educational. We were warmly welcomed by our host Consorzia di Cooperative socialli Global med Care. Luiga Belli and Francesco Tengaglia were our hosts. During the final meeting the Sesycare Good Practices Guide was presented and we also did a study visit to the Lorenzo Foundation. This study visit made a huge impression.

Lorenzo Foundation

During this last meeting we became acquainted with the activities of Global Med Care (Italy) and we also became acquainted with local associations working with caregivers. The visit to the Lorenzo Foundation in particular made a great impression.

The Lorenzo foundation originated after the youngest son of an Italian family, named Lorenzo, who was diagnosed with cancer. In Italy he has been treated but there was also a possibility to undergo expensive treatment in America (with a bigger chance for recovery). Because there was no money from the family to pay this special treatment a successful crowd funding campaign was set up and launched. Unfortunately, the funds came too late and it was no longer possible for Lorenzo to travel to America. He died shortly after the completion of the crowd funding. The family decided to place the collected money in a foundation. A foundation which is named after their son Lorenzo and which is committed to children with cancer on a daily basis. Support consists of offering psychological, mental and social support for the child and parents/carers. There is also extra attention on special holidays for the sick person and for her/his carers. In addition, support is also provided accompanied with the necessary adjustments to ensure care for the child in care. Everything the foundation does is in line with the providing support and aid.
