ProCKD Training Aegina
The ProCKD project will focus on the needs and problems of patients from Spain, Turkey, Greece, and the Netherlands, regarding how can the employed patients be assured to stay in the workforce after initiation of dialysis, how being convinced to continue training and education, and how unemployed patients can be helped to join the workforce. Understanding the factors influencing employment rates, the obstacles for a person who wish to have a fulfilling professional life.

Work-Based Learning (WBL) is an effective teaching approach used to engage students in real-life occupational experiences. It incorporates structured, work-based learning activities into
the curriculum, allowing a student to apply knowledge and skills learned in class and connect these learning experiences in the workplace. Work-based learning provides students with the opportunity to engage and interact with employers, while learning to demonstrate essential employability and technical skills necessary for today’s workforce.

ReConnect – Better Digital Teaching and Learning
The ReConnect data analysis has the aim to develop a new pedagogical approach. The ReConnect data has been collected through two methods of inquiry; focus groups and questionnaires. The quantitative data analysis steps we have done are data validation, data editing and data coding. Our conclusion is that the questions in the questionnaires and focus groups are valid. On the basis of the Data Analysis outcomes our recommendation would be to firstly develop a blended pilot training with emphasis on digital teaching and learning for the students and than make the train the trainer training.

EDDI Platform
Reducing early school leaving to less than 10% across EU Member States by 2020 is one of
the EU’s priorities in the field of education. The Commission is working with Member States
to implement comprehensive strategies to prevent early school leaving and to engage early
school leavers in education and training. EDDI Project consortium members came together
to develop early diagnosis methods for Early School Leaving and to support these methods
with digital ICT opportunities. For this purpose, after the feasibility study carried out in the
project partner countries, the factors causing early school leaving were determined and
effective strategies were determined

During August 24th-25th 2021 the partnership ‘Çreating VET Business Partnerships for Work-Based Learning’ came together for the Hybrid meeting (OnLine and face-to-face) in Larissa Greece. In this very successful meeting we discussed and presented our progress so far with our products and intelectual outputs: VET-WBL Guide, Passport to Success and the VET-WBL Platform.

The project ‘Creating VET Business Partnerships for WBL’ is a partnership with Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Turkey, The Netherlands and North Macedonia. One of the aims is to provide an overview of theoretical perspectives on Work based learning education, to support young people, schools and companies out there. Our project starts with making overviews of the VET Systems in each partnership country. Our fourth project article in the VET-WBL Series covers the Bulgarian vocational education and training system.

The project ProCKD, draws attention to the socio-economic problems faced by individuals suffering from kidney diseases. The focus of this project include, how kidney patients can continue their jobs after starting dialysis, how to encourage them to continue education and training, and how to help unemployed patients find meaningful jobs. Photo FX – How are we doing?
On July 8th 2021 the partnership Photo FX had an OnLine Transnational project meeting. ‘Photo FX aims to provide young participants with the tools to give voice to their expressiveness, vision and personal interpretation of the world, with the purpose of social inclusion and awareness. The project has a special focus on young people with a physical and / or mental disability. How are we doing so far?
