On June 29th 2021 : The Dutch Foundation W2W had their SMS 2 Days on a location in Leiden at PLNT with Leidse Hogeschool students. During the SMS2 Daus students presented their views about the possible strenghts and weaknesses of the Social Media Savvy 2 Project. On top of that students gave some feedback and advice as well.

Tourism Talks: Work Based Learning
Last Friday, July 9th the project Digital Tourism showcased a special Tourism Talks edition on the topic Work Based Learning. The show can still be viewed OnLine in the ‘Digital Tourism Qualification Forum’ Facebook group by clicking this link. During the show we discussed more than 20 documents. After the discussion we were abble to validate and fonmalize all the document. The very valuable feedback from our stakeholders was priceless and will be added in the documents. In August and September 2021 we will start up a series of DT Work Based Learning blogs to show you all the work we have we validated and formalised. The DT documents are free to download and available for everyone to use, copy and paste (mentioning the author and DT partnership will still be appreciated though).

Most popular Dutch VET-WBL Job Search instruments and links
The project ‘Creating VET Business Partnerships for WBL’makes overviews of the VET Systems in each partnership country. Our first project articles in the VET-WBL Series covers the German and Dutch vocational education and training system. This article gives a more indepth look in the most popular Job search instruments. Recent research by Intelligence Group shows that job sites are the most-used channels when searching for a new job. That makes job sites a more popular method than using own networks, Google or social media. Since they are so popular, we have delved into the world of job sites and accumulated a top 25 for you.

Tourism Talks Show: Digital Tourism Work Based Learning
The project Digital Tourism have scheduled a special Tourism Talks edition on Friday July 9th at 14.00 hours CET time. This Event will be devoted on the Work Based Learning period. The event Tourism Talks will take place on July 9th in the ‘Digital Tourism Qualification Forum’ Facebook group. The project ProCKD, which was funded by the European Commission from December 2020, draws attention to the socio-economic problems faced by individuals suffering from kidney diseases. The focus of this project include, how kidney patients can continue their jobs after starting dialysis, how to encou-rage them to continue education and training, and how to help unemployed patients find meaningful jobs. This is the first Newsletter of the project, which looks back on the webinar “work is treatment and treatment is work”. This was held online on February 16 with the participation of all partners, organized by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Pieter Van Schie was the speaker of the webinar and emphasized the current problems related to employment.

Developing Digital Marketing Technologies and Practice Units
The Dutch Foundation of Innovation Welfare 2 Work (DFW2W) is currently developing the digital Marketing units for the project ECVET for Digital Publishing. We will provide learners an insight into the origins of Social Media through the technologies of Hypertext and the World Wide Web. They will learn how mobile apps and smart-phone services extend these platforms, how they make use of tracking data to target marketing campaigns, and the relationship between search and advertising.
